Independence from external transit providers
Combell is in charge of all the network and routing management. Thanks to our independence from external transit providers, we can provide a faster and more flexible solution to your network needs.
Through the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), two data centres act as a single logical network. For each user, BGP constantly searches for the fastest available route to the data centre. Through BGP, Combell can offer additional data centre capacity and managed hosting services in the data centres of InterXion and LCL.
The best availability guarantees
Combell's multi-data centre approach offers you the best availability guarantees. Even if a severe calamity should destroy an entire data centre, your application would remain available.
If you choose an active-active configuration, both data centres are available together. If you choose an active-passive configuration, the second data centre acts as a backup site in case something should go wrong in the first data centre.
